Everything You Need to Know About NDIS

The NDIS has revolutionised the way support is provided to Australians with disabilities. If you or someone you know is a wheelchair user, understanding how to navigate the NDIS can be a game-changer for their quality of life. So, how can you make the most of NDIS? Read on to discover how!

What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme, better known as the NDIS, is a government initiative aimed at providing individualised support to Australians living with disabilities. The scheme offers tailored plans that include various types of support, from health services to equipment funding.

The goal is to empower individuals to live more independently and be active members of their communities. So, the NDIS is not solely about financial assistance - it aims to give people with disabilities the tools and support they need to achieve their personal and life goals!

Why Choose an NDIS Registered Provider?

Opting for an NDIS-registered provider ensures you're getting a service that meets strict quality and safety guidelines. That's where Pure Wheelchairs comes in! We are an NDIS-registered provider, offering expert wheelchair cleaning services you can rely on.

Eligibility Criteria for NDIS

To be eligible for NDIS, you need to be:

  • An Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or a Protected Special Category Visa.

  • Must be aged between 7 and 65 and have a permanent disability that significantly impacts your daily life.
